Feed My Sheep Food Pantry Re-opening
The Fed My Sheep Food Pantry at the Lexington Park Baptist Church will be re-opening on Wednesdays from 1 pm until 3:30 pm, starting Wednesday May 13, 2020. The Food Pantry is located in the Preschool Education Wing of the Church at 46855 S. Shangri-La Drive, LEXINGTON PARK, MD 20653.

We are operating a little differently due to quarantine and social distancing regulations at this time so please keep checking back to see our most up to date plan on how we can continue to serve our community in a safe and healthy way.
Currently our Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry will be distributing food pantry items outside every other Tuesday starting March 31 from 11am-12:30pm, for as long as we have resources to do so.

TWO MORE BAGGED-LUNCH SITES OPEN
Free bagged lunches will be available in Ridge in the parking lot of Dollar General, 13270 Point Lookout Rd. and in Piney Point, in the parking lot of Chief’s Restaurant, 44584 Tall Timbers Rd. Distribution hours are from 11 am. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. A Pop-Up Mini Pantry will be available every Wednesday at all sites.
Bagged lunches are also available in Charlotte at April’s Pools, on the corner of Rt. 5 and Rt. 6 and in Bushwood in the parking lot of Quade’s Store, 36786 Bushwood Wharf Rd

St. Mary’s Caring Soup Kitchen has added an additional take-and-go bagged lunch site in Bushwood at Quade’s Store, 36786 Bushwood Wharf Rd. First distribution will be this Friday, March 20 between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Lunches will be available Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a mini-pantry available on Wednesdays.
In order to pull this off, we need you! We are asking for fresh fruit (apples, bananas, grapes, oranges) or fruit cups, bread, chips, puddings, snack bars, packets of instant oatmeal, Capri Sun, bottled water, individual condiments, napkins and plastic spoons. Items may be dropped off at the St. Mary’s Caring, 20850 Langley Rd., Lexington Park, between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Monday-Saturday.

LEONARDTOWN, MD – With increased flexibility to the guideline of the Summer Meals Program, St. Mary’s County Public Schools will be offering breakfast, lunch, supper, and snack at 4 locations. Community members will drive up and receive all meals for the day conveniently packed in one grab and go bag for children 18 years and younger.
St. Mary’s County Public Schools Department of Food and Nutrition Services is offering meals to students through the Summer Meals Program. Acceptance and participation requirements for the Program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the sites and times as follows:
From March 17-27, 2020, Monday-Friday, a drive-up lunch service will be provided at the locations listed below from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Meals will be offered to all children 18 years and younger free of charge. Parents and children can drive up to these locations and receive meals that they can take home during our current school closures.
